Dr. Gala received his M.B.B.S. in 1987, and M.S. (E.N.T.) in 1991 from Grant Medical College, Mumbai. He also received additional training from leaders in the field, including the late Dr. A.B.R. Desai (E.N.T. Hospital) and Dr. Milind Kirtane. He has been in practice since 1991. With over 32 years of experience, his surgical skills and proficiency have led to his reputation as an expert in his field. He has treated patients from all over the globe, with superlative results. He is a consultant at many renowned hospitals in Mumbai, including Bhatia Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital, and Dalvi Hospital. Dr. Gala is nationally recognized for his expertise in a full range of medical and surgical services for people with problems of the ear, nose, sinus, head, and neck. He has given lectures on a local and national level on endonasal DCR, allergic rhinitis, and daycare thyroid surgery.

Dr. Gala is a versatile surgeon, with expertise in both common and rare ENT procedures. This includes middle ear surgeries, thyroid surgery, parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgeries, endoscopic sinus surgery, and microlaryngoscopy. He also performs high-quality diagnostic testing at Gala ENT & Eye Care, including audiometry, hearing aid testing and fitting, laryngoscopy, and allergy testing. Visiting faculty at Gala ENT & Eye Care include Dr. Mohan Jagade, who is an expert in facial aesthetics including rhinoplasty.

In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Gala also has significant experience and training in hospital administration. He served as the Medical Superintendent of Maru Hospital for 17 years. He has done extensive work in charitable settings, including working in the Shree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust (Bidada Hospital) in Kutchh for 15 years, and ear camps in Kenya.
