Dr. Gala received her M.B.B.S. in 1987, and M.S. (Ophthalmology) in 1992 from B.J. Medical College (Pune University). She graduated as a GOLD MEDALIST during both M.B.B.S. and M.S.. She has been in practice since 1992. She has more than 30 years of experience and is an expert in her field and highly respected among her peers.

Dr. Gala diagnoses and treats a wide variety of ophthalmological diseases. Her areas of expertise include cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, refractive surgery, squint surgeries and lid surgeries. She has done extensive work in charitable settings, including working in the Shree Bidada Sarvodaya Trust (Bidada Hospital) in Kutchh for 15 years, and eye camps in Kenya.

In addition to her clinical activities, Dr. Gala is an active member of the All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS). She was part of the organizing committee of the 80th Annual Conference of All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOC 2022).
